Radio Personality Dinahlynn Biggs is the Chicago and Indiana Chapters President of the National Black Radio Hall of Fame.   Legendary Radio Personality Dinahlynn Biggs has been in radio since 1975. Starting at Vee-Jay Records with Vivian Carter in Chicago.  As of 2020 Radio Personality Dinahlynn Biggs is the first black female radio station  owner in the state of Indiana. Operating the Biggs Radio Network as WDLB-DB : Biggs Radio Station with network affiliates Soul Radio 51 out of Philadelphia.  On Chicago’s radio for many years on WOSD Radio Operating from the legendary Regal Theatre.  Dinahlynn is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and the Order of Eastern Star.

Harold "H.B." Bell utilizes his multi-faceted marketing and promotion skills to generate resources and visibility for non-profits, small businesses and faith-based groups in the Indianapolis area.  In 2019 he joined Urban Technology Academy as Director of Development to implement Information Technology programs to disenfranchised communities.  Harold produces engineers and creates topic specific program on www.radio.next.tv; and for the last twelve years has hosted a live talk/jazz internet broadcast known as "The Jumbo Love Show" and "The Senior Scoop Radio Show".

 

Larry Jenkins, New Vice President of the Gary-Indiana Chapter of the National Black Radio Hall of Fame,  Chicago native now in Gary, IN, Larry is known as the the Prime Minister of the Blues.  Starting his radio career in Chicago at the first black owned station WVON, owned by Pervis Spann who was his mentor.  He has worked in all aspects of radio as engineer, producer and promoter of major events in the Midwest.  As of date Larry can be heard on AM 1370 WLTH Radio in Gary, IN with the hottest Blues show in the Midwest.  Additionally, Larry honorable serves as 3rd Vice State of Indiana Commander of the Sons of Amvets.
 
 

 

Eric Durett, Indianapolis native instrumentalist & liaison to the starz for over 30 years.  Worked directly with Rev. Charles Williams Recording Artists through Black Expo concert promoters throughout the area.  Started in music at an early age joining a group at 14 called Odyssey Inc.  Voice over recording artist for various stations in the Midwest

 

 

 

 

 

 

Davon Jones

DaVon started her radio career in Gary, Indiana as a teen volunteer at WLTH Radio when it was on Broadway.  Quickly, she learned the value of community service and talk shows.  Assisting in engineering and events in the community and commercials over 20 years.  She currently host shows on Biggs Radio Chicago and working in the community as "The Voice of a New Generation."  Singer, Grammy Award Winner, Songwriter, Producer and Manager..

30 year Chicago Radio Veteran now has a radio career with Westwood One as Host of the Rick & Sasha Show ; he, also broadcasts on ESPN as the Voice of Sports Center at 6pm; Rick formerly established Rick Party Media.  

 

 

 

 

 

Delano Curtis Randle, Sr., is known on-air in Chicago as D. Curtis Randle. A member of the radio community for 15 years. His first radio job was with community radio station WSSD-FM in Chicago, IL in 1977, as a teenager in between his studies at South Shore H.S.  After graduation, he interned at WCSU-FM on the campus of Central State University in Wilberforce, OH in 1978. He re-discovered his passion for the music in Dallas, TX working for KFCD-AM (2006-07) as the host of “The Rejoice 990 Morning Show”.  After moving back home to Chicago, he became owner of OuterDrive Media.  Hosting “The D Curtis Randle Show” (2010 – current) which aired on WYCA-FM in Hammond, IN, Ultimate Praise Radio, Urban Broadcast Media, Future Vision Entertainment’s ClubSteppin.com and its current home RayNealMedia.com, WBML-DB during his current 12-year run.  WKCR-DB, WLUL-DB & WARK-DB in Chicago, IL.
 
 

 

Joe "Dynamax" Roberts, a Bronx New Yorker, is an Recording Artist, DJ, MC, and Producer. Dynamax started his music career in 1994 and since has toured 30 countries, done dozens of collaborations, signed to Universal France & sold Millions of records Worldwide. While residing in Europe Dynamax worked with the U.S. Embassy’s A.R.S Division under President George W. Bush & President Barack Obama Administration’s as the Cultural Specialist Hip Hop Ambassador. Dynamax has also been given the name of "Hip Hop Ambassador" from the founding Father of Hip Hop Kool DJ Herc, not only for his International Hip Hop Career but his knowledge of the Elements and teachings of the Culture. While living in Paris Dynamax was also a radio personality for 88.2 Generation  FM for many years and as of 2020 a founding personality  on WDLB-DB Biggs Radio Station.  The weekly edition of the "Live from New York" show brings the Elements of Hip Hop together from around the world all in one show & teaches the Culture to a whole new generation. Dynamax continues music collaborations with artists worldwide.

 

 

 

Gary, Indiana native DJ Stanun, a crate carrying DJ from the 80's for major clubs and events in the Midwest is a national Radio Personality, Producer, Engineer, Commercialist worldwide radio station owner with Da Ville Radio; also Midwest Pocket Record Pool.  Executive to many radio personalities world wide and this all started from working in Minnesota with Pasley Park as a young teen.

 

 

 

 

 

Lonnie Givens, Sr. is a Chicago songwriter Artist and Producer since 1991. Known worldwide for his dedication to Blues and community service worldwide.  Performing hits taking the charts by storm and spending a lot of time working with the radio Producer’s and Promoter’s in the music industry.

Royce Glamour ~ Chicago Chapter Member.

 

Royce, a former singer who grew up on Chicago's tumultuous South.  He took the first step to implementing this vision by creating a talent showcase in his own namesake, calling it the Royce Glamour Show, which continues on local access television over 20 years since its debut. It also helped spawn the Royce Glamour Radio Show, a venture Royce has nurtured with producer, entrepreneur and long-time friend Donald Blair. The duo has graced the internet airwaves with social commentary and classic hits since 2013, enjoying a successful run on the former Urban broadcast Media between 2015 and 2019 before moving to iHeart Podcast Radio. Royce is a community activism based on both his desire to make a positive difference among young people and his passion for Show business as his voice is heard worldwide.

 

 

 

Nathaniel Lee, Radio Talk Show Host serving the Indianapolis Community for over 40 years with the Syndicated talk show entitled: Legal Issues of the Day Attorney airing on WTLC Radio & Biggs Radio Indianapolis & Chicago.  Nathaniel Lee, the Senior Partner of Lee Cossell & Crowley, LLP, is a graduate of Morehead State University, Morehead Kentucky, where he obtained his B.A. (1977) and Masters (1978) degrees. He received his J.D. from the University of Georgia, Athens (1982). He has practiced in the Indianapolis region since his bar admission. 
For over 40 years Attorney Lee serves as Chairman of The Lee Foundation, a not-for-profit charitable organization which provides annual assistance to youth and families in the Greater Indianapolis and surrounding areas. The Lee Foundation, is a non-profit organization, which provides assistance to families in the greater Indianapolis and surrounding communities.  the  The Lee Foundation has sponsored two (2) annual events during the year: Halloween Drive-Through Candy Giveaway on Halloween Night and Christmas Adopt-A-Family during the month of December. Both events have been held for the past tenety (20) years and have serviced thousands of families and children annually for the Halloween Candy Give-A-Way and assisted more than 2500 children and families for the Christmas Adopt-A-Family with food, clothing, toys, gifts and utility assistance during the Christmas seasons. Other assistance offered by the Foundation includes athletic sponsorships to local youth and youth groups, as well as partnering to help with other community assistance.
 
 
 

 

Marvelous Marvin of Gary, Indiana, is a longtime Gary, Indiana radio personality, engineer, producer and creator if the Gospel Sunrise radio show. The show with it's many guest has been running for decades. His voice in the Gospel community is everlasting with top of the line Gospel shows to the community. Additionally, Marvin has been reporting and covering events, news stories and sports. He can be heard on the airwaves at AM 1370 WLTH Radio in Gary, IN.
 
 
 
 

 

Carrie Roberts. Over 20 years as a 3rd Generation in the Bar & a 4 star Restaurant Business in Nebraska.  Carrie started a night club in early 2000 booking live music entertainment as well as comedians. She found a love for the entertainment business. Some years later, asked by friends to manage their music careers. Working in radio as management, marketing, commercialist and promotions since the inception of WDLB-DB Indianapolis Biggs Radio Station. Carrie started oMo Entertainment Management LLC, managing Hip Hop and RnB artists as well as a international Rock band. Currently Managing The Hip Hop Ambassador MC & DJ Dynamax Roberts. 
 
 
 

 

DJ Geno Shelton.  After graduation 4th in his class from Bloomingdale's high school Shelton later became a Mass Communication's graduate of Western Michigan University. He was awarded College Radio DJ of the year. He has worked at WKMI in Kalamazoo, Mi. and later moved to Indianapolis and worked at WTLC where he achieved the highest ratings in the history of the station. His career later graduated to promoting concerts and in 1999, he produced his first major festival for the Indiana Black Expo.  
 

 

 

 

Toya P. Smith started her radio career in Gary, Indiana in 2011; known as the "lovely Engineer" and served as Producer of "News You Can Use" and Election Central on 92.7FM - 1370 AM with WLTH Radio located in Gary, Indiana.  She also co-hosted Conversations Unlimited with TeDora Show on iHeart Media Radio; Inspirational 1390 (WGRB) located in Chicago, Il.  In her many years of working in radio, Toya has held the position as a Radio Host, Engineer, Producer, Marketing and Management agent.  Toya now works in the film industry; serving as an Executive Producer and writer; as well as being an American Politician.
 

 

Alvin Washington Jr., Radio Production News/ Talk/ DJ/ Radio Personality. 
One of the youngest to enter the Chicago Radio in market in 1989 as a production director to his present-day role as one of the leading music/talk voices in morning drive. Washington served as production director during WJPC/Chicago's last years (1992-94) and has also made stops in Cape Girardeau and Chillicothe, MO; Mason City and Washington, IA; along with McCook, NE. His voice has also been featured as a sports public address announcer at the high school, college and professional levels, including parts of 11 seasons with the Harlem Ambassadors. Washington presently enjoys a prominent role as morning drive host and executive producer at Biggs Radio Station (WDLB-DB/Indianapolis). Washington is a Chicago native with a stint in New Orleans where he graduated high school.

Attorney Ali earned a Juris Doctorate (law degree) from Trinity International University; a masters in business (M.B.A.) and administration of justice from University of Phoenix; a liberal arts degree with an emphasis in African Studies from Regents College through a consortium with Tennessee State University; and police certification

Lois Pritchett.  Early 1970’started in the Entertainment Industry out of High School learning to book artist(s) via my aunt, from Chicago, who opened her venue in Birmingham, AL, and featured Jackie Wilson. From that experience moved to Philadelphia worked with Edward Carlton that was signed with RCA Records. Later after completing my education in Houston, Texas I moved to Baltimore, MD in 1986. Returned to the entertainment industry again in 1990 and opened my own Booking Agency working with great acts such as The Blind Boys of Mississippi, Dixie Hummingbirds, Clara Ward Singers, and many other upcoming talents. Later, I was the Executive Director for the Bobby Jones Gospel Explosion in 1995 in Los Angeles and continued to work in the booking and promotion area of entertainment. Currently Lois serves as Artist Music Management Director of KCLA Biggs Radio Pasadena.

 

 

 

Gus Redmond.  American songwriter and record business veteran from Chicago.  He has assisted in the success of over 500 hit songs.  R&B Music Promotions for the Chicago Chapter.

In 1999 Redmond started doing work for PPI Entertainment (Peter Skillet Sectors); whose roster contains Jean Carne and Tito Puente, Jr., previous Chi-Lites lead vocalist and youth friend of Eugene Record who opened up his Evergreen Information in 1998 and tapped redmond for promotional responsibilities over the label's debut discharge, Record's modern gospel album entitled, "Allow Him In".  As of date, Redmond is an Atlanta Radio Station Owner of Getdugradio.com and manages ChiTunes.com.

William "Mr. Bill" Squires, Jr. Singer, song writer, performer, instrumentalist and producer from Indianapolis now is an Atlanta Radio Announcer.   Mr. Squires oversees the Marketing and Membership for the Chicago Chapter. His career started as a drummer with "Pologenic Men" as lead singer and manager.  He has opened for After 7, and headlined the Black Expo Soul Picnic. He has worked with LaFace Records and Devyn Stephens.  He is one of the owners of Zoomiez Entertainment.  Zoomiez collaborates with artists and companies throughout the South, Mid-West and beyond with a strong reputation of demonstrating memorable tracks and professional recordings.

FREDDIE G. “BOOM BOOM” WASHINGTON was born in St. Louis, MO, a city with historical roots {The Old Courthouse and Gaslight Square} were some of the elements that affected and contributed to his musical influence. At the age of 13, Freddie began playing in church. Freddie was a member of the Soldan High School Symphony and Stage Jazz Band that produced one of Motown's well-known writers, Michael L. Smith. Michael and Freddie had the opportunity to work together both as amateurs and as professionals.

Founder of the group Spontaneous Combustion was formed in 1974 in the home of the Gateway Arch (St. Louis, Missouri) Currently he serves as Program Director of KCLA Biggs Radio.

 

 

 

"Drew" Williams 95.1 The Voice.  Chicago Chapter Member.

Chicago Native Drewsean "Drew" Williams has been in the Radio Industry since 2001 when he began his career as a student radio personality at Kennedy King College.  He received his Associates in Applied Science in Radio and TV Broadcasting.  His broadcasting career has lead him to tenures at the Chicago Division of IHeart Media and the Indianapolis division of Urban One Media (formerly Radio One).  Drew is also a Voice Over Talent and has become a signature voice for several radio stations and various campaigns.  He has been a spoken word artist, a features reporter and in 2017, he officially became an author with his first book "Authentic Words".  He is currently a Creative Services Director at The Voice of 95.1 Chicago and an instructor at the Illinois Media School located in Chicago.
